The Model Unit

award-winning design

Home to exclusive designs by award-winning NYC interior designer Jon Call, The Social brings an eclectic and lavish atmosphere reminiscent of boutique cosmopolitan hotels.

At The Social, our apartments are blank canvases, where residents can decorate a space true to their own comfort, style, and inspiration. When it comes to designing their own home, the imagination is the only limitation. Each apartment is outīŦtted with a package of furniture and those pieces are the building blocks for design. Additional key accessory pieces are implemented by Mr. Call Designs to emphasize the space and existing furniture.

Kitchen

Storing all appliances away and freeing up counter space, as well as sticking to tight color coordination keeps the chaos at bay. Decorate the top of the kitchen cabinets with a bold collection, such as the blue and white pottery that we have here.

Dining Room

A dining space is created by adding four statement bar stools to the bistro bar for optional comfortable seating and additional personality. Create your place setting by using an eclectic mix of shapes and styles that are anchored together by a cohesive color palette. This will amplify your individuality.

Bathroom

Make your private bathroom a relaxing space to start and end your day by limiting your counters to the basics; soap, flowers, and an air freshener. Consider under-counter storage for all your odds and ends.

Bedroom

Richly colored textiles and bold prints bring luxury to each of these bedrooms. Add additional interest and privacy by hanging a canopy over the bed. Making a bedroom that is uniquely your own is easy with the foundation of furnishings that are provided.

Living Room

Using the existing furniture, you can easily add your own style. Add architectural interest by placing an over scaled painting over the sofa. The artwork grounds the room visually and brings a sense of excitement. Create a cohesive design with the accessories such as eclectic throw pillows, a variety of lamps and throw blankets. These items help add some texture to the room.
